HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CONSIGNMENT SALES?

Our niche is somewhat unique. We only accept smocked and name brand clothing, shoes, strollers and more! We continue to build solid relationships with stores and national clothing companies that send us "new with tags" overstocks and samples - all of which are priced way below retail.

WHAT IF I HAVE CONSIGNED WITH THE POSH WHALE SALE BEFORE?

We need you to fill out a consignor form online before each sale.  However, your consignor number remains the same.  If you have forgotten your consignor number, CONTACT us and we will let you know what the number is.

HOW CAN I SHOP EARLY?

ARE RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ALLOWED?

No! All sales are final. Please consider your purchases carefully!

HOW MUCH DO I MAKE FROM THE SALE OF MY ITEMS?

Consignors earn 70% of the selling price of the item.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SOLD?

Our Sale Manager program allows you to keep track of your estimated sales and totals. At the end of each day we will upload all the sales for the day into our system. As a consignor, you can log in each day and see what you have sold!

WHY NO STRAIGHT PINS?

They are very dangerous. We need to protect the safety of our shoppers and our volunteers.
 

ARE ALL ITEMS DISCOUNTED TO 50% OFF ON SATURDAY?

No, most items are half off. It is up to the individual consignor to decide if they want their items to go half. Each tag is clearly marked with a red dot if the items are to be sold at half price.

WHAT IF I CAN'T PICK UP MY ITEMS AT THE TIME ALLOTTED ON THE LAST DAY OF THE SALE?

The Posh Whale only has the building rental for a contractual time period.  We have to vacate the property under those terms.  We also do not have the space to bring home items not picked up. If you are unable to pick up your items at the scheduled times, all items become the property of The Posh Whale and will be donated.

$10 clean up fee will be deducted from your consignor check.

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS!

You are welcome to have a friend or relative pick up your items. The Posh Whale is not responsible for items left or forgotten.
